How It Started
The idea for Anthony Scrivener Group Inc. was born from direct experience—not from a boardroom, but from behind bars.
Over 15 years ago, our founder began helping fellow inmates file appeals. In the process of studying case law, writing motions, and reviewing transcripts, one thing became painfully clear: many of these convictions could have been avoided if defense attorneys had done more at the trial level.
What began as legal self-education turned into a high rate of reversals and sentence reductions—not because of loopholes, but because courts repeatedly agreed that trial attorneys had failed their clients.
That’s how the founder learned what strong trial advocacy is supposed to look like. And that’s why this company exists today: to make sure defendants don’t get left behind again.
