When my case first started more than three years ago, the District Attorney offered me a 10-year plea deal. My attorney was pressuring me to take it because she believed there was no defense. I got Anthony Scrivener Group’s information from another inmate who was also fighting his case, and my mother contacted ASG and purchased the three-month service.

Using ASG’s communication platform, I was able to use my discovery and preliminary hearing transcripts to explain to counsel why the case against me was weak. About three months after my first communication was sent to counsel, the District Attorney reduced the offer to three years. Even then, my attorney still believed there was no defense and encouraged me to accept the offer.

Through ASG’s service, I was able to dictate another communication explaining specific evidence that could be used at trial to challenge a witness’s credibility. My attorney later acknowledged that she had not noticed that issue, even though some of the information was in the discovery. After that evidence was obtained, we went to trial and the jury returned a full acquittal.

I give full credit to my attorney for winning my case. But I also give credit to Anthony Scrivener Group for taking the time to listen, document my information, and help me clearly communicate how I saw the case.
